Seb deserves now a spot in the market leader espresso French dominated by the Senseo, Nespresso, Tassimo and others.

Indeed the only model of espresso maker Seb: Express; very classic machine if it had never attracted my attention. Yet the group has SEB leader of the small appliances in France and could surprise a range so little scope in terms of coffee.
So I was very surprised to find this a new beginning of espresso coffee maker Seb that deserves be mentioned. This is the SEB Supremia (CD4025). Surfing in the breach opened by the mode of coffee pod to the Senseo flexible as not to be confused with the hard pods as the ESE pods modern espresso machines. Seb therefore presents a direct competitor to the Senseo. A new machine design simple but attractive to use any type of flexible Pods market.

But this small Supremia Seb does not stop there; indeed where it outperforms its competitors is that it can use the classic coffee instead of using more expensive pods.
It presents an attractive price of around 60 € in line with the first generation of Senseo.

So with all these advantages why it does not deal with a box Senseo?
First model for the CD4025 is less functional, it does not alone and it is up to you to watch a good time to stop the flow of your coffee.
Secondly the quality of manufacturing is less successful on this machine, and thus accidents flow interface on the side at a bad insertion Pods are unfortunately more common. This also happens if you load too much coffee machine.


It should be noted that this is probably because the coffee off a pressure 2bar compared with 1.5 bar of the Senseo. What is an advantage for the rise in heating but it should also have a locking system more efficient.
